Green Kitchen Remodel

• replaced backsplash with Bedrock tiles made locally from recycled glass
• kept original fir floors
• replaced cabinets with Ikea cabinets
• replaced all appliances with energy star appliances including a freezer on bottom refrigerator, dishwasher, range and over the range convection microwave with micro hood.
• took out old furnace chimney to create more storage and counter space, enabling us to keep the kitchen footprint the same.
• reused original sink and faucet.
• painted with low VOC paint
